Last Saturday July 31 we went with some family into Dinosaur National Monument and had a picnic at Josie's Cabin and went on a small hike up Box Canyon. It was just the right length for the boys. They started to complain a bit, but they did just fine. It was a hot day, so we were glad most of the hike was in the shade. Tyler kept saying he was nervous when we got into the canyon and the walls were closer together. (maybe he thought the walls were going to close in on him?)
Chris fell asleep on the way.
Then he woke up.

We went and got a slushy at Sonic in the afternoon while Doug went on a Mountain Bike ride. Then Doug took Damon and Tyler to the Demolition Derby in the evening - I stayed home and finished cleaning and watched the Lightning Thief.
We had a fun and tiring day. Tyler slept in until 8:15 the next morning; I had to wake him up to get ready for church (he usually wakes up between 6 and 6:30).
