So our trip back to Utah started first thing on Thursday December 27th, we decided to wait one more day to leave for weather reasons and so we wouldn't have to be packing on Christmas day. We left around 8:15 am and arrived in Cache Valley around 6:00 pm. We made 3 stops and the kids over all did pretty well. The girls were great, it was Chris that had the hardest time.
We stayed our first three nights at Doug's parents house (actually they are living at Doug's Aunt and Uncle's house right now). They are working on building a house now that they are back from their mission. We enjoyed visiting and the boys had fun sledding on the hill that is by the side of the house.
Friday we did a few errands in Logan - visiting stores that we can't find in Denver (Gossner's Cheese and Kitchen Kneads). We stopped by my grandma's house and had lunch there.
Saturday was the Petersen Christmas Party. Our family was in charge this year. We gathered around 2:00, played games, played in the snow, and had Cafe Rio pulled pork salad for dinner. We had a short program including some family songs. Everyone enjoyed seeing the girls especially Candice.

The party was a success! Good food, fun and family. Sunday we went to my home ward (Nibley 2nd) for Sacrament meeting. It was fun to see a few of the families I grew up with. Then we packed up to head to Bear Lake for the Datwyler Family Reunion.
