Christmas 2012

It was a fun Christmas this year.  I fed the girls early, around 6:00 so we could all be ready to open presents together.  We went down to the tree around 6:40 am.

It was a Lego Ninjago Christmas, Damon and Tyler got cool sets and they got some new mini-figure spinners that they played with all day.

Chris got some Bob the Builder cars and a Zip Track, but he liked playing with the Ninjago toys as well.

Tyler is a really good builder and did his whole set by himself.
Ninja-Go!

We got the family a bouncy house to have in the basement.  Pretty fun! The boys weren't done with their Legos, so they bounced for a bit but then wanted to go upstairs and finish their sets.  They love Legos.
Kai Blade Cycle (we already had this set), Cole's Tread Assault, and the Ultra Sonic Raider

Here are our main gifts lined up - mostly so I can remember what everyone got.  I got a bunch of stuff for the kitchen, toaster, rice cooker, Kitchen Aid paddle, and kitchen scale.  Plus a movie and some clothes - thanks Doug and parents.
Damon got the Ninjago Lego set, Gearopolis, clothes, some books, Lloyd ZX spinner, and some Star Wars figures.
Tyler got the Ninjago Lego set, Batman Wii game, clothes, books, Kai spinner, and some Star Wars figures, they got this Ninjago game as a family present too.
Chris got the Zip Track, Bob the Builder cars, clothes, books, Thomas Aquarium cars, and a Chokun spinner.
Jenna and Kaylee got mostly clothes, with a few books and a couple of new toys and a cute monkey comfort blanket doll.
Doug put his things away before I could take a picture, but he got a remote control helicopter, some slippers, a tie, and new jump drive, and a subscription to a sports magazine.  He will also get some clothes too when he goes shopping for them.

It was nice to just stay home and enjoy the kids.  We decided to leave for our trip to Utah a day later so we wouldn't have to pack on Christmas.  I'm glad we did because it was nice to take a day off to just be together as a family.  The kids played well with their new toys and we enjoyed the time together.  Merry Christmas!
