Happy Birthday Damon

Well, we celebrated Damon's birthday yesterday along with Memorial Day. He had a lot of fun opening his presents. We gave him: some clothes, the X-Wing Star Wars Lego set, a Star Wars Lego Wii game, and C-3PO figure. Grandma Datwyler gave him a robot inch worm and clothes, and Grandma Petersen gave him some more Star Wars figures: Luke, Yoda, and Darth Vader. As you can tell it was a very Star Wars day.




Here's the Star Wars cake: Damon specifically asked for white frosting with a yellow border with a blue light-saber on it.

Mom and Dad had fun building the X-Wing, both boys love playing with it.

We love you Damon, it's crazy to think that you're 6 years old.

Damon loves numbers still and is getting better at reading- I need to find a way to get him a little more motivated to read on his own -he likes us to read to him the most. Damon is very creative and makes very cool lego creations and colors well. He is also very sensitive and wants to do whats right, and when he doesn't he gets really upset that he was bad. He likes to plan out his whole day so he knows when he can watch Wild Kratts, when he can play the Wii and when he can eat snack etc. He still can be super silly and sometimes has a hard time calming down when it's time to go to bed. Damon is a wonderful boy and we are so lucky to have him in our family.
