So after we visited with the Petersen Family we drove up to Cache Valley. We stopped by Doug's sister Brenda first and I got a hair cut. Then we went up to Smithfield to be with my parents. We watched the end of Conference and then had lunch. Of course every time we go to Logan we have a huge list of errands, this trip was no exception. So mom and dad watched the boys and we went into town to shop and look at SUVs. Sadly we missed the second session of conference, but I am listening to the talks in the morning.
Grandma and Grandpa always find fun things for the boys to do. They went over to a neighbors house that has a sand box, swing-set, and trampoline. They played in the creek, and enjoyed some popsicles. Air-hockey and the hot tub are also favorites. And of course they love to play with my brother's old Star Wars figures.

We listened to the first session on Sunday, then had a great lunch with cheesecake for dessert. It was an early birthday celebration for Doug, he's being funny and holding up his fingers for 31, even though he is turning 32 this year.

Chris enjoyed his ice cream.

Mom and I traded recipes on our IPads, and the boys had fun playing with some new games.

We left around 1:00 and drove straight through without stopping. All the boys fell asleep at some point, so that makes it nice. A quick trip, but fun to see family.
